Nigeria has just validated a national Cashew Industry Roadmap.
In July 2026, Nigeria's Federal Government validated a roadmap focused on increasing local cashew processing and value addition. Nigeria produces roughly 300,000–350,000 tonnes of raw cashew annually, while more than 85% was reported as being exported without processing.
